•   Green Monastery

The green monastery is located in a quiet, secluded place in the forest, built by the 9th century Christopher and Tevdore, disciples of St. Grigol Khandzteli. During the Turkish invasions, more than 300 monks were executed in this monastery, which makes the stream seem bloody because of the reddish stones on the bottom. In the chapel are the remains of the saints. On the territory of the monastery to this day there is no electricity.

•   Ubisa Monastery

The foundation of this amazing temple dates back to the 9th century, the era immediately following the liberation of Georgia from the Arab yoke. If you look at the walls of the main temple, you can find very beautiful miniatures, but the greatest time should be given to studying the frescoes. Ubisa frescoes are a rarity of the XIV century. Ubisa was one of the favorite temples of the Queen Tamar, who often visited it.
